  • For nearly 15 years, Dr. William Schiff has managed his practice at Urology Associates of Central California in Fresno, CA. devoting most of his professional career to the management of Sexual Dysfunction.

    As a founding member of Urology Associates of Central California, Dr. Schiff has developed a subspecialty interest in Male and Female Sexual Dysfunction. He has developed innovative and comprehensive approaches to Sexual Medicine. An expert in the placement of Penile Prosthesis he has performed hundreds of Penile Implants. During this time, Dr. Schiff is routinely called upon to consult with physicians and penile prosthetic companies regarding the management of patients and their significant others with sexual dysfunction.

    Dr. Schiff actively hosts seminars for public and private organizations in an effort to educate the community about Sexual Dysfunction. In addition to his education efforts, Dr. Schiff has established a team of specially trained professionals that accompany his patients through a focused process in evaluating and treating patients promoting a successful outcome.

    As the Medical Director of the Urology Associates of Central California Clinical Research Division, he has been instrumental in the advancement of urologic therapies offering our patients treatment sometimes years prior to them becoming available to the general public. His intentions are to focus on the cutting edge of medicine. In addition, Dr. Schiff has participated in several sophisticated studies related to ED (erectile dysfunction) that has led to the development and common use of medications including Caverject, Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.

  • Gilbert DaleDr. Gilbert Dale is a founding member and President of Urology Associates of Central California. Dr. Dale is board certified by the American Board of Urology and has been practicing medicine for over twenty years and specializes in female incontinence procedures.

    Dr Dale welcomes male and female patients above the age of 18 to his urology practice. His primary hospital affiliations include Saint Agnes, Community Medical Centers. Dr. Dale was schooled at the University of Missouri at Columbia where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Doctorate in Medicine and fulfilled his internship requirement. After moving to California, he went on to complete his residencies in General Surgery and Urology at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. An expert urologist, Dr. Dale exemplifies a strong educational background and an unyielding commitment to the advancement of urological treatment.

    As an active professional in the urological field, Dr. Dale is a member of the American Medical Association, American Urological Association, American Society of Nephrology, American College of Surgeons, California Medical Association, Fresno-Madera Medical Society, Society of University Urologists, Western Section American Urological Association and the International Society of Nephrology.

  • After graduation from Syracuse University, Dr. DiPietro received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine while simultaneously earning a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Management from Saint Joseph’s University.  She then completed her training in General Surgery as well as her residency in Urology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, finishing as Chief Resident.

    Dr. DiPietro is an active member of the American Urological Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.  As the only female Urologist treating adults in the Central Valley of California, Dr. DiPietro has come to Fresno employing the latest techniques and modalities available in the field of Urology.

    In addition to her general urology practice, Dr. DiPietro’s clinical expertise focuses on kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia.  She is skilled in minimally-invasive techniques, including complex endourologic interventions for urinary tract stone disease, utilization of implants for urinary and sexual dysfunctions, as well as a variety of the most current options for the treatment of prostatic diseases.

    Beginning on November 14, 2011, Dr. DiPietro will be accepting appointments for patients with urologic conditions including, but not limited to:

  • Dr. Benjamin Steinberg, the Central Valley’s only fellowship trained Urogynecologist with expertise in female pelvic floor problems. Dr. Steinberg completed a three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgery accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

    Dr. Steinberg has come to Urology Associates of Central California offering innovative treatment and minimally invasive surgery in female pelvic floor disorders, including:

    As a strong advocate of patient education, Dr. Steinberg conducts seminars to educate patients and healthcare professionals about the available treatment options in female pelvic floor disorders and female sexual dysfunction. Dr. Steinberg has lectured in both national and international conferences. He presented his research for the International Urogynecology Association (IUGA) in Italy and at the Society of Gynecologic Surgery (SGS). Dr. Steinberg graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Yale University, and obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his residency at Cooper University Hospital, he earned Resident of the year award, Teacher of the year award, and Chief Resident. Dr. Steinberg is a member of the American Urogynecology Society (AUGS), the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA), and the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACOG).
